Corn Chowder

Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1-10 oz package frozen whole kernel sweet corn
1 Cup peeled potatoes, diced
2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 Cup water
1/4 tsp paprika
2 Tablespoons flour
2 Cups milk
2 Tablespoons finely sliced celery
2 Tablespoons finely chopped onion
2 Tablespoons finely diced green pepper


Preparing your recipe
In medium saucepan heat oil over medium high heat. Add celery, onion, and green pepper and saute unitl lightly browned. Add sweet corn, water, potatoes, and paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium, cook covered until potatoes are tender about 10 minutes. Mix 1/2 cup milk and flour stir and blend well. Add gradually to cooked vegetables while stiring then add remaining milk. Cook stirring constantly until cowder comes to a boil and thickens. Serve garnish with chopped parsley.
